    The Kelp Gull continues at the Sea Breeze Restaurant piers in St. Mary's
County, actually showing up more this week than many previous weeks.
    It has reportedly been present each day for most of the day all this
week, including Wednesday, 8/25, when some 6+ inches of rain fell on both
the gull and the visiting birders from Washington State, and again today,
8/27, for visiting Connecticut birders and between 11 and 11:30 a.m. for
yours truly.
