I spent 11AM to 3PM at Point Lookout on Monday 9/6 looking at terns. There was a large feeding flock in the bay a couple miles offshore. With the 'scope I could make out several of what appeared to be all-dark terns. Unfortunately they did not come close enough for an identifiable view and the flock eventually broke up and scattered down the bay. Terns that flew by close enough to identify included Forster's, Common, Royal, and Sandwich. The latter was an immature that flew over the point parking lot. There were lots of DC Cormorants and the standard gulls and a few Brown Pelicans around. Two turnstones flew by. Bob Ringler
