Greetings from Easton MD This morning we are getting nice strong winds, and have had 5 inches of rain during the night. I've emptied the rain gauge and am ready for more. Around 7:00 a.m. five small fast flying ducks came up Leeds creek against the wind - looked like teal, probably blue-winged. Later the normal flock of about 50 Laughing Gulls came up - then two Forster's Terns - and along the shore I can see the usual single Snowy Egret, and a not-so-usual Great Egret. Both Egrets seem happy to be snuggled beneath the trees along that shore. Cardinals have been checking my bird feeders. No signs yet of Tropic Birds or Frigate Birds. Les Roslund
