Hi All:

More like, sometimes it DOESN`T pay to stay home, as I found out when an elated
Marcia Whitmyre reached me at 3 pm this afternoon. We have been saying since
the inception of the Turkey Point Hawk Watch in 1994 that we do NOT get major
flight of Broad Wings, but todays flight of around 1400 birds crushed that
theory. According to Marcia, there were distant kettles that she could not
accurately count due to the activity taking place right overhead. There was
another decent flight of falcons today as well. Marcia will be providing more
details.
Why oh Why didn`t I go to the hawk watch today,
