The Baltimore Bird Club field trip to Cromwell Valley Park, Baltimore Co
east of Towson featured a good hawk flight:
22 Sharpies
4 Coopers
14 Broadwings
3 Harriers (all right together)
2 Osprey
3 Kestrels
2 Red Shoulders
1 Red-tail

Most of the hawks were between 10AM and 11:30.

Some species that were the first of the season for many of us were:
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (2)
Red-Br Nuthatch (1)
Ruby-Cr Kinglet (3)
Myrtle Warbler (2)
White-throated Sparrow (2)

Some other goodies were 2 Blue Grosbeaks, 3 Magnolia Warblers, 2 Scarlet
Tanagers, 3 Rose-br Grosbeaks, 2 Yellow-billed Cuckoos, a Thrasher, and
about 20 Bluebirds of various ages.
