Fran and others,

The BANANAQUIT is being seen at Hugh Taylor Birch St Pk in Ft
Lauderdale, Florida.  This area is well-described in the ABA/Lane guide
and is close to the airport (for those of you who'd think about
twitching and using a taxi instead of paying for a rental car).  I keep
regular updates for rare birds (such as the BANANAQUIT) of interest to
North American birders (and of course, those who visit North America).

But since this is a Maryland list, I'll refrain from mentioning I just
got some secondhand info on a YELLOW GROSBEAK in New Mexico...
