Hi All: Not the flight we would have hoped for this am with strong NW winds following a cold front, 125 birds between 9 and 1:30. A decent day for falcons, but where are the big buteo flights? We are now only several hundred birds shy of 5,000 for the season; with any luck, should reach that mark this weekend. Beating our best season record of 5500 in `96 certainly is well within reach. Today: Turkey Vulture- 22 Bald EAgle-3 Sharp Shin-71 Coops-2 Red-shoulder- 3 Red-tail-3 Kestrel- 16 Merlin- 5 Leslie Fisher Cecil Co.
