Howdy All!

Thought you might like to see what Marshall does on a
week off from platform birding in Louisiana:

--------------------------------------
Texbirders:
Those who beleive that the Blue Mockingbird is just an
excaped cage bird can delete now. But in the belief
that there are some out there who would like to have
this information, seven experienced birders heard and
even got a few quick looks of this bird Sunday morning
at around 8 AM. It did it's regular chucking call
quite a lot, some bad grackles, a Kiskadee and several
over songs and calls that I didn't recognize.
Marshall Iliff even got off a couple of photo shots,
so it he is as good a photographer as he is a birder,
we have some photos for the record. To reach Madge
Lindsay's house, turn south off of I-83 on Highway 88
(Texas Ave.) then turn left on 11th St. for one block
to Kansas Avenue.
The house is on the southwest corner just to the right
of the gate into the refuge, which is locked.
