This morning Jo Solem and I crashed and thrashed through Plum Tree
(Dorsey hall in Ellicott city) and Rt 100 (Meadowbrook Park).
Plum tree was heavy with SWAMPS (40-50) birds. There were less SONGS
(30 aprox.) one WHITE CROWN and WHITE-THROATS. There was alot of
activity of the usual type and a nice group of 20+ RUSTY BLACKBIRDS.
Along with the numerous MYRTLES and PALMS there was a single female
BLACK THROATED BLUE. A couple VEERIES were eating berries.
Meadowbrook was even more active with sparrows. Some of the first birds
sighted were two lovely FOX SPARROWS! SONGS, SWAMPS, FIELD,
WHITE-THROATS a dozen WHITE-CROWNS and a single SAVANNAH.
