Speaking of NSWO's, we had one in the net at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary on Monday night. That is 2 this year, in 4 nights of attempts (5 nets, 3 rounds a night=60 net hours=1bird/30 net hours) Last year we had a total of 3 or 4 birds, so this year is looking slightly more interesting... Charlie ps - had a snipe in the front field about 2PM. --- Arlene Ripley <aripley@nestbox.com> wrote: > At 02:56 AM 10/21/99 -0700, you wrote: > > > >Anyone know a source of a saw whet owl vocalization? > > > >sue > > Sue, > > I use the Peterson CD (or Stokes CD) to make tapes of > calls.
