Howard County ran a trip to HT Wildlife Man. Area this morning. The morning was spectacular with the sun hitting the leaves. Color was wonderful. The KINGLETS were very active with both species in great supply. We hit the jackpot with winter birds, PINE SISKINS and PURPLE FINCH in the tops of the tulip trees. A WINTER WREN and SAPSUCKERS and BROWN CREEPER were along the wooded path. A late SOLITARY VIREO and a couple HERMIT THRUSHES eating berries. Bonnie Ott (who came home to 14 SISKINS on the thistle feeders)
