You know, I was siskin-less too, until this past Sunday. Then I realized that the problem was not the siskins, it was me! It was possible that they were around, but I was never home to see the little rascals. On Sunday I actually spent a whole day at home, instead of running here and there, and ouila! there they were, at least 7, at the thistle feeder. Which brings to mind that old conundrum about a tree falling in a forest - does it make a noise if there is no one to hear it?
