Oh yes, the Reboboth Monk Parakeets are quite easy to see. They nest &
roost in the community between Silver Lake & the ocean (King Charles St,
St. Lawrence St, Queen St., etc). There are three ways to find them -
look for the giant stick nests on the telephone poles - they use the
nests as roosts all year and their little green heads are usually
sticking out; listen for their raucous calls; ask any local resident.
Actually, if you just walk around the community with binos, the local
residents will be quite amused and will point out the parakeets.

By the way, about 10 Red Crossbills were seen at Cape Henlopen State
Park this past Saturday, near the observation tower. A MD report of
crossbills must be coming soon!
