My husband and I saw them several years ago near the North End of Silver Lake. They had a large (about 12 feet), very messy nest, that they were treating like a condo. The nest was "woven" around a phone pole and its attached wiring. They were also VERY noisy. Good luck, Ellen & David Cohen
