I refound the Red-necked Grebe above the dam at Conowingo this morning. It was still on the Cecil side, but much farther upriver, near the railroad bridge. A Great Cormorant (adult) was with the 60+ DCs above the dam. There were 80 below, along with the adult Lesser on the wing wall. A morning tour of north central Harford turned up nothing rare. Fox Sparrows are in in decent numbers, RC Kinglets are still common, and Hermit Thrushes are fairly numerous. Chickadees (the purpose of the trip) are still in small groups and I found no hint of a Black-capped. Rick Practically anything you say will seem amusing if you're on all fours. -- P.J.
