 Fellow Ospreyers,

When it is dark and I'm not out owling, I enjoy reading books with
birds as central characters. I have read a bunch over the past year and
I'd like to share my reviews of them with you. I'd also like to hear of
other titles.

Today's book is Down and Dirty Birding by Joey Slinger (1996)
This is a irreverent book that pokes fun at us birding types. Hope you can
laugh at yourself. It has some uproariously funny passages. It also has a
lot of intersting and useful information about bird behaviour, bird
identification, finding birds and feeding birds. Enjoy.
