Hi All:
How nice to arrive at a site to find the target bird already nailed
down; Matt Hafner, Jim Stasz and John Ball had preceded me to Bald Friar
Rd and got me right on the bird. Thanks much. I was able to confirm
from previous excellent descriptions and input from Jim the smaller
bill, overall darkness, dark crown and nape without hint of a collar and
dusky cheek patch. From a side/partially rear view, the uniform
grayness of the neck was striking with the white throat not in evidence
until the bird gave a more frontal view.
