Thought we should mention that while in Hagerstown we went down to the Indian Springs WMA in an attempt to re-locate the Northern Shrike seen by Jim Stasz on 11/14. There were a couple of pretender "look-a-likes," but no N.Shrikes. I should add that this is a lovely area for birding. We found good sparrow habitat all around and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. On the road there and back to town -- Red-tailed Hawks by the dozens!
