Persistence pays off! After many hours over several years of staring at the water at Chesapeake & North Beaches, i finally saw a Brown Pelican! It was winging it's way north at the deck at Rod & Reel Restaurant. It was actually quite close, being easily id'd at first with 10X, and then with 40X. danny bystrak jug bay
