The Mississippi challenge never affected my reporting. It was fun to follow but I think the composite list
is also useful information. Thanks for doing the list. With the way next year is shaping up, this could
produce the largest list ever. Rufous Hummingbird, Sandhill Crane, Harris' Sparrow are currently in the
state. I just read my first crossbill report, redpolls are out there, etc. With the better networking now
available, we could do a very fine list. Mark Hoffman's big year record could be in jeopardy. Go for it.
Happy Holidays.

Greg hit a chord. Ding, ding......

Hmmmmm, maybe we have have educational fun. Do we
continue with the MD comp list? It will only work if we can
challenge another State.

However, do I see twinkling starlings in the sky aiming for an
ABA comp list? Oh ho ho.....but again, we need to have a
challenge, I think.

I'm game if we all REALLY do want to keep this up for another
year. Let's hear it from the rest of you! It's best if we can set
this up before the New Year.
