This afternoon around 2:00 p.m., I paid a visit to Tarbutton Mill Road and found the Sandhill Crane in its usual place. The bird was feeding in an open area back of the pond, where the grass was so short that even the birds feet were visible. Great views! This bird seems to fully enjoy the site. Les Roslund Easton, MD
