[MDOsprey] Delaware birding 12/18

Katie Prothero, Cheryl Chronowski, Joe Chronowski and I birded some Delaware 
locations today.  We did Silver Lake, Cape Henlopen, Prime Hook, Port Mahon, 
and Bombay Hook.  There were several highlights:

Laughing Gull - 1 at Silver Lake    
Brown-headed Nuthatches - many at Henlopen campground, there were NO finches 
Snow Buntings - flyovers on Pier at Henlopen and flyovers on the point
Merlin - 1 on the point at Henlopen
Rough-legged Hawk - 1 sitting on telephone wire at Port Mahon
Short-eared Owls - 4 at Port Mahon at 1:00pm!!
Least Sandpiper - 4 in Dunlin flock at Port Mahon
American Pipits - 100+ at Bombay Hook
