Hi,

Just returned from Florida last evening and heard of the Le Conte's
Sparrow. Bob Boxwell and I went to Jacob's farm this morning
(12-28-99). Nancy Mag. (sorry I can't remember how her last name is
spelled) was just pulling into the parking area as we arrived. I found
the Le Conte's Sparrow within a few minutes of arriving, but the others
only saw it fly. We could not relocated it until Tyler Bell arrived
when we all got satisfactory looks except for Bob. Both times the bird
flew to the smaller groundsel bushes just into the Phragmites.

Good birding and Happy New Year,

I wanted to remind everyone that it is still hunting season and Jacob's
farm is, of course, a hunting area. So please be cautious.
