Dear Jerry and others,

My sister, who works in Westminster, Carroll County, now lives in Hanover, PA. On her commute
to work she passes by Long Arm Creek Reservoir in PA. She's stopped the car twice now; first
when she spotted an adult Bald Eagle, secondly when she saw two adults at the reservoir. Perhaps
they are related (?). The reservoir is very close to the Carroll County, MD line.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Eagle in Carroll

Every April we get a few Osprey passing through that stop and fish in the
lake across the road. Right now we have a first - an imm. Bald Eagle is
down there eating something he picked out of the lake. We first saw him
hunting and he dove down behind the neighbor's house. He then flew to a tree
across the lake where he sits eating his catch.
This is only the 2nd one since we moved here 18+ yrs ago. We had a
mature Bald fly over a couple years ago in Sept. However he didn't stop and
fish.
