Greetings,

Yesterday after finishing up work at Chestnut Point Marina on the North
East River I took some time to scope the river north towards Charlestown
and east over the Hances Point area. I was mainly looking for loons as I
had heard one calling while working earlier on the docks.  I was lucky
enough to find at least 11 Common Loons most in full or near-full Alternate
Plumage.  Also I saw many Double-crested Cormorants and at least one
Bonapart's gull in full alternate Plumage (black head, etc).
