Hello everyone,

ONE MORE TRY: LBBG SURVEY.....SATURDAY, 10 APRIL 2004

The FINAL attempt at our winter-long effort to learn about the density of our region's wintering Lesser Black-backed Gull population will take place this Saturday, 10 April 2004. As always, help is needed and greatly appreciated! Reports from anywhere at any time of day will be welcomed!! Sunday reports would be of interest as well.

Last month's regional total was 381 LBBGs! Most were in southeastern PA, plus 6 in NJ, 15 in DE, 2 in MD, and 15 in VA. Good results! 30+ were reported from elsewhere in the eastern US.

Hoping for a strong final effort for this project and good numbers of gulls. Please report any LBBGs seen this weekend!

Thanks and good gulling,

Bill Etter
