Yesterday there were Gannets off Scientists Cliff
shores every time I looked -- including from my fromt
porch, through a narrow gap in the trees. Yard bird
#145.

I have been in Louisiana for a week, but apparently I
haven't missed a lot. This morning there were a lot
of (singing) Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Yellow-throated
Warblers, Field Sparrows, Bluebirds, Eastern Phoebes,
Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers and Pine Warblers at the
American Chestnut Land Trust.

I'll hope for something new tomorrow!

PS The Laughing Gulls are back in earnest in Solomons.
It's fun to see the Common Loons and Horned Grebes in
breeding plumage.
