Hi all:

Top birds in DC this morning were 2 BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS and a singing
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER near Milepost 8 of the Capital Crescent Trail just
upstream of Fletcher's Boathouse.

At Hains Point there was a basic plumaged BONAPARTE'S GULL at the tip of
the point, where 2 CASPIAN TERNS also passed over. On the National Airport
side on the river were 2 LESSER SCAUP and 6 RED-BREASTED MERGANSER, all
females.

In the Anacostia River in Anacostia Park, there were 2 completely alternate
plumaged RUDDY DUCK and 9 BUFFLEHEAD. Flying over were 2 OSPREY from the
nest on the South Capitol Bridge and an adult BALD EAGLE.

Good Birding.
