    This afternoon I visited the McKeldin Area of Patapsco Valley SP.  Birds of interest were:

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Phoebe
Rough-winged Swallow
Golden-crowned Kinglet  -  numerous
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - first of the season
Yellow-throated Warbler  -  heard 2
Pine Warbler - 1 singing male
Louisiana Waterthrush - 1
Swamp Sparrow - 1
Junco - 4

    This evening I visited Piney Run Park.  Notable birds were:

Canada Goose  50
Baldpate  2
Mallard  15
Blue-winged Teal  15, a record spring count here
Shoveler  2
Green-winged Teal  40, a record spring count here
Canvasback  4
Lesser Scaup  4
Bufflehead  145, a record spring count here
Hooded Merganser  14
Red-breasted Merganser  9
Common Loon  7
Pied-billed Grebe  3
Horned Grebe  9
Double-crested Cormorant  13
Osprey  3
Coot  1
Killdeer  9
Bonaparte's Gull  24
Tree Swallow  25
Barn Swallow  1, first of the season
Rusty Blackbird  16
