"This Friday just before 2 in the afternoon Barbara Dowell and I were
watching a kettle of Bald Eagles raising upward on the thermals, when
we noticed a much smaller bird circling which had a brillant white head
when the sun hit it. When it banked the black and white markings and
forked tail showed it to be a Swallow-tailed Kite. We watched it for
several minutes before we were distracted by more eagles and were unable
to relocate it."
