Yesterday morning (April 9, 8:30 am) I saw a medium-sized Heron at the
wildlife end of Centennial Lake.  The coloration was consistent with
Green Heron, but if so, it was the largest Green Heron I've ever seen.
Looked more like the size of a Black-Crowned Night Heron.  I went back
this morning with my scope and camera, but the bird was gone.  Checked
out Font Hill Wetland Park just up the road to see if the bird had flown
there, but it wasn't there either.  I'm concluding it was in fact a
Green Heron, and either I misjudged the size or it was super-sized.
