Wood Duck at least 10 in the trees or on the canal
Double-crested Cormorant 250, mostly in the trees across the river
Bonaparte's Gull 5, flying upriver
Ring-billed Gull 3
Great Black-back 3
Caspian Tern 12, flying upriver
both kinglets
Gnatcatcher 2
Yellow-throated Warbler 2, one singing
At Violettes Lock:
Lesser Scaup 6
Bufflehead 20
Common Merganser 4
Red-breasted Merganser 9
Double-crested Cormorant 60
Bonaparte's Gull 85
Ring-billed Gull 3
At Riley's Lock:
Common Merganser 1
Pied-billed Grebe 1

At Hughes Hollow:

And in the evening I went to Liberty Lake to watch the cormorants coming to roost:

Double-crested Cormorant 140, started roosting on the ground, exposed roots, or water but when the sun went down they moved into the trees.
