A single Savannah Sparrow, with a relatively bright lores and crisp
streaking on the breast, foraged at the edge of the boat lake at Patterson
Park today. It stayed apart from Song (14), Swamp (7) and Field Sparrows on
the weedy slope at the North end of the water.

A Caspian Tern browsed for twenty minutes; but did not see anything worth
driving for.

Other birds: Barn Swallow (3), Chimney Swift (1), Wood Duck (2) and PALM
WARBLER (9)
