Hi all today at the Chestertown seweage pond on John Hanson Rd
birds seen were 5 Caspian Terns sitting on the dividers between
sections . Also there Shovelers , Mallards , 1 Ruddy Ducks. lots of
resident Canada Geese, 1 Sharp - Shinned Hawk. Then went of to Eastern
Neck Island still some Tundrra Swan presant , Osprey Carrying sticks
for its nest as well as other ones there too. Lots of scaup around I was
able to pickup one Greater male with some Lessers, 22 Red - Breasted
Merganser all female types with a Bonaparte's gull hanging out with them.
Bogles Wharf had 2 male Canvas Backs hanging with Scaup . 2
breeding plumaged Common Loons. Duck inn trail 1 Red Bellied
Woodpecker ,Flicker, 1 Red Headed woodpecker still there at the end of the
trail was another Common Loon , Horned Grebe 1 , 2 mockers . On the
way back out the trail A Yellow throated warbler flew straight at
me landed in a tree 7 feet away and 7 feet high sang a few phrases
and flew off again killer look . Than a yellow Plam Warbler came into
view with an insect in its bill. it was soon replaced by a Brown
Thrasher. Tree Swallows and immature Bald Eagle also seen .
