 I spent a couple of hours today birding at my parents property before they put me to work. Parke John and Tom Raub were present as well. 3 hours was all I was able to bird, other than when I would look up when I was splitting wood. 7 to 10 am Birding.10am to 5pm working. Birds of interest were,

Common Loon fly over- 30
D.C. cormorants- 25
Northern Harrier -1
Sharp-shined -3
Red-tailed Hawk-6
Red shouldered- 1
Bald Eagle - 2
Osprey-6
Black Vulture-4
Turkey Vulture-35
Pileated Woodpecker-2 The pair was chasing each other.
Veery- 2
Hermit Thrush-2+
Eastern Phoebe-1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet-25+
White-eyed Vireo-1
Blue-headed Vireo-4
Palm Warbler-6
Myrtle Warbler-10
Prairie Warbler-1
Pine Warbler- 2
Louisiana Water Thrush-1
Pine Siskin-1

NOTE: We did have a Red-tailed Hawk sitting on a nest.
