Weather:
Sunny skies; 47-61 degrees; winds moderate to strong from the NNW.
Observations:
Delightful day for Ospreys, Harriers, and Merlins. 27 of the Merlins came
after 1pm DST.
Swallows pouring by all day, the majority Tree Swallows, but also good
numbers of Barn and Northern Rough-winged, also 2 Cliff; also hundreds of
Purple Martins amd several Chimney Swifts. 65 Bonaparte's Gulls feeding
along the shore; 14 Caspian Terns; 1 Little Blue Heron.

Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest.
