A very birdy morning along the BMNT today. Shorebirds were prevalent around
the beaver pond with 1-Killdeer (flyover), 4-Solitary Sandpiper, 2-Spotted
Sandpiper & 1-Wilson's Snipe.

New migrants: 1-Osprey (flyover), 2-Chimney Swift, 1-White-eyed Vireo,
2-House Wren, 4-Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, 1-Wood Thrush (heard), 2-Gray
Catbird, 1-Yellow Warbler & 2-Common Yellowthroat.

Other notable birds: 2-Red-tailed Hawk, 1-Pileated Woodpecker, 6-Brown
Thrasher, 5-Savannah Sparrow, 2-Swamp Sparrow & 12+ lingering White-throated
Sparrow.

In the herpetology department: 1-Northern Black Racer estimated to be 4 feet
in length sunning on the lower branches of a bush.

With today's 10 new additions, my BMNT list (since 8 Feb) now totals 86
