Concerned about the effects on surrounding natural areas, I have
decided not to add any more invasive exotic plants to my yard.
If they attract birds, they are likely to spread through the
seeds in bird droppings.  There is a lot of info on the Internet
on what plants to avoid, and what plants are native and safe.
