Following up on my previous post, the Cerulean Warbler pics
(which aren't wonderful but at least identifiable) can be
found at:
http://www.astro.umd.edu/~dcr/Archives/Photos/Birds/new/
In addition to the Cerulean Warbler (and a wav file sound
recording of his call -- click on "listing by filenames"
from the index to access it), you will find pictures of:
Blue-winged Warbler (Rock Creek Park)
Sora (Huntley Meadows, Virginia)
Canada Goose with egg (Huntley Meadows)
Blue-headed Vireo (Huntley Meadows)
(sorry about the Virginia pics -- I travelled around a lot
yesterday, picking up 67 species -- pretty high for me!)
There's also a wav file of an unknown call heard at Rock
Creek Park in the morning. If anyone can identify it for
me, I'd be grateful. It's frustratingly familiar, but I
can't place it.
Good birding,
D
