Just a quick note to say the warblers are hopping in and around DC (well...
also Alexandria).

I was straddling the Potomac today but was able to see 17 species of
warblers before work by 8:30 in Rock Creek Park at Picnic tables and Nature
Center and during my lunch hour at Monticello Park (alexandria) [* for the
17.]

RCP
* Magnolia
* Chestnut-sided
* Blackburnian
* Cerulean (great views in sun at ridge then songs at nature center)
* BT Green
* B & W
* Palm
* Ovenbird
* Nashville
* Yellow Rumped
* N. Parula
Hooded (heard by another)

Also - RE, BH, YB, and WE vireos.

In Monticello Park (sorry I know it is not in MD)
* Worm Eating
* Blue winged (singing - others saw)
* Yellow
* C Yellowthroat
* BT Blue
* Hooded (excellent views 2 singing)
B & W
N. Parula
BT Green
Ovenbird (good view)
Yellow Rumped

Perhaps I should get to Fletchers after work for the Y Throated &
Prothonotary & another as well as Mr. Warbling vireo. 20 in April on a
workday would be great!
