Rose-breasted Grosbeaks (3m) were seen during my short lunch-time walk in
Patterson Park today. While I walked counter-clockwise around the park they
seemed to move clockwise and I got to see three striking songsters at close
range. The pattern of rose color on the breast varied, helping me to keep
track of each individual.

Both the Baltimore and Orchard Orioles were also present. The Orchards (4m)
kept in contact with each other with a single syllable Nuthatch-like call.
This call was given [approximately] once every ninety seconds by three of
the birds the other may have been a little too far to hear. While the
Baltimore Orioles (5m) did not give there full song they called to each
other with abbreviated songs and short chatters they stayed close to one
another.

YELLOW (2 singing), NASHVILLE (1m) and BLACK-AND-WHITE (1m) WARBLER were
also tallied.
