There were a lot of good birds in the Rock Creek Park maintenance yard this
morning between 6:30 and 8 am. Many were firsts of the year for me, and
one was a first ever in DC - Cape May Warbler.

Other warblers included: Blue-winged, Parula, Black-throated Blue, Yellow-
rumped, Black-throated Green, Blackpoll, Black-and-white, Worm-eating,
Ovenbird, and Hooded.

Other highlights were: Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Ruby-throated Hummingbird,
Acadian Flycatcher, Red-eyed Vireo, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Wood Thrush,
Scarlet Tanager, and Baltimore Oriole.

Many birders were arriving as I was leaving, so more reports may come in.
