Elliot Kirschbaum and I had a nice morning birding at Milford Mill Park,
Baltimore Co. We had several new-for-the-year (for me) species, marked with
*

The best were:
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks* - 4, 2 very-well seen. What beauties they are!
Scarlet Tanager - 1 well-seen. Not too shabby either!!

11 warbler species, which were all seen well except for one heard-only:
Blue-winged Warbler - 1, close! *
Northern Parula - 2 (thinning out!)
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 1 *
Yellow-rumped Warbler - still numerous about 20
Black-throated Green Warbler - 1
Black-and-white Warbler - 2
American Redstart - 1 (heard only)
Worm-eating Warbler - 2 *
Ovenbird - 2
Northern Waterthrush - 1 *
Common Yellowthroat - 2

Also
Warbling, Red-eyed and Blue-headed Vireos.

Still waiting for orioles and Indigo Buntings.
