Greetings,
Having spent the last week in southern Florida it looks like I missed a
pretty week for spring migration. Unfortunatly I couldnt get out to do
any "local" birding due to a saturday funeral, and a sunday birthday party.
however while I was out I was able to observe a few migrants on thier way
through. At my home (Hances Point south of North East) on Saturday Morning
I had singing Northern Parula and Blackpoll Warbler (early-ish?). On Sunday
around the 'hood I had n. Parula, Ovenbird, Red-eyed Vireo, and Pileated
Woodpecker.
Its cold up here! but at least its greener then when I left!
Good birding,
Chris Starling
