All,
I had a couple of interesting birds this morning on Roosevelt Island. A
Prothonotary Warbler was singing loudly along the boardwalk in the swamp. It
moved around a lot but came up to my pishing. Also around the statue area
were my FOY Blackpoll, a N. Parula and lots of Yellow-rumps.
The tide was out so the marsh was just mud, giving good looks at several
Green Herons. Also had fly-overs of a Great Egret and Black-crowned Night
Heron.

Good birding,
Tom Ewert
