Two male Baltimore Orioles chased each other through our backyard this morning in what seemed like some kind of tussle over territory (there was no need to fight....either one could stay, I don't mind, though I was kind of partial to the one who gave the "rattle" call in mid-flight).

Two House Wrens engaged in courtship display in the back corner of the yard, while another could be heard "singing" on territory across the street (that's been the normal territory for them over the last several years, this year, there seem to be several more around).
