Hi all,
Along with the birds Lydia mentioned, we also saw (and heard) Eastern Wood
Pewee, Veery, huge numbers of yellow-rumps, American Redstart male, Indigo
Bunting, many female Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Cedar Waxwings, Yellow-billed Cuckoo,
a pair of Baltimore Orioles, Black-throated Blue and heard only BT Green,
Black&White, a flyover Osprey (seen passing over the tiny clearing above the
pond!), a heard only Hooded, and many Red-eyed Vireos. These birds were all seen
in the small clearing behind the nature center, mostly right in the vicinity of
the small pond there, many coming down to drink or bathe. I intended to spend
only a few minutes there, and didn't leave until after 11:30, when thing
finally beagn to settle down. The Maintainence Yard was rather dead when I first
got there.

What a wonderful morning!
