Greetings,

At long last I finally made it out for a full morning of birding for
spring migrants up here (not Florida). I spent 5 hours birding the trails
in the Susquehanna State Park starting in Lapidum and ending at the Deer
Creek Water Treatment Plant a few miles to the north. I ended the day 69
species, but what I lacked in quantity I made up for in quality. I had a
14 warbler species day, which for me is a good warbler day below is a list
of notable migrants seen or heard by me including my *life* Cerulean
Warbler!

Caspian Tern
Barn Swallow
NRW Swallow
Chimney Swift
R-t Hummer
Great-creasted Flycatcher
Acadian Flycatcher
Eastern Wood-Pewee
Eastern Phoebe
House Wren
Gray Catbird
Wood Thrush
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Blue-headed Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
Warbling Vireo
Cerulean Warbler (at least three singing with one seen well)
Prothonotary Warbler (one seen singing unusualy high in a tree)
Black & White Warbler
Blackpoll
Redstart
Blackburnian Warbler (brilliant male)
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
N. Parula
C. Yellowthroat
Ovenbird
Pine Warbler (heard at Hances Point-Cecil post dusk)
Black-throated Green Warbler

Good Birding,
