Complete cloud cover switched over to completely sunny around 1 pm;
57-61 degrees; cold easterly winds 8-13 mph.
Observations:
The first of two Merlins today broke our seasonal record of 100. Thanks,
Dave Mozurkewich.
The statewide May Count produced 87 species in and around the Park,
including Common Moorhen, a lingering Northern Junco and 13 warbler
species.

Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest.
