Went for a short family walk this evening at Hughes.  There was a partially hidden swan resting in the big open impoundment which from what I could see was an immature Mute Swan.  I also scoped a distant Olive-sided Flycatcher on a dead snag on the opposite impoundment.  Other than that, the usuals, with a flyover Bank Swallow being my first for the year.  No rails or bitterns seen or heard.
